Notes: Hiram Bryant I served in the War of 1812 with the 6th Regiment (Barbours) Kentucky Volunteers. He was accused of being a horse thief. His father, William, posted a $2500 bond. Hiram fled back to Kentucky, whereas his father forfited the bond putting him in financial trouble. Hiram Bryant is listed as one of the "Founding Families" of the University of Missouri in 1839, but had been long gone to Kentucky, the listing must be for his brothers Huram and Benjamin Bryant.
