4. | Marvin C. Bluntzer was born on 17 Jun 1924 in Ander, Goliad Co., TX., USA (son of Urbaine Sam (Bonnie) Bluntzer and Carrie Bertha Olenick); died on 23 Dec 1997 in Cuero, Dewitt Co., TX, USA. Notes:
Marvin was a former employee of Sun Oil Co. and worked for S. S. C. Seismograph, Harkins Drilling Co and Ford Motor Co. He was a member of Yorktown VFW, Post no. 8136, Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree Council No. 1682, Cuero Auxiliary Fire Department, Yoakum General Assembly Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, DeWitt County Pecan Growers and Tax Payers League. He was a life member of B POE "Elks" Lodge No. 1431 and Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. He was a former Grand knight, 3rd Degree and Faithful Navigator, 4th Degree, and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Cuero, TX. A Rosary was recited at 1:30 PM at the Church in Cuero, led by the K of C's, followed by Services at 2:00 PM at the Church, Burial was on Friday, December, 26, 1997 in STs. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Cemetery at Meyersville, TX. He was preceded in death by one brother, Calvin Bluntzer. Pallbearers: Ken Adams, Jim Crain, Gus Leck, Fred Wendel, A. J. Engbrock and Weldon Buchhorn.
