      Sara and Jocob and their family crossed the plains to Oregon by covered wagon in 1852. a daughter Rebecca and her husband Bryant Gray Thornhill accompanied them. while crossing the plains Bryant died of Cholera. they continued west and in February of 1853 rebecca's son was born. He was given his father's name and this is the Bryant Gray Thornhill Olive Anne Pickard.
