  Notes	(from THE VICTORIA ADVOCATE of Sunday, Sept. 6,1998) YORKTOWN-TEXAS Robert Berthold Jacob, 98, of Yorktown, died Saturday, September 5, 1998. He was born Nov. 12, 1899, in Yorktown to the late Reinhold and Bertha Afflerbach Jacob. He was a retired business manager for Yorktown I SD and member of First Presbyterian church. He graduated from Hills Business college. He worked for Yorktown Cotton Oil Manufacturing Company. He was a 77-year member of Cameron Masonic Lodge No. 76, founder and member of Yorktown Chamber of commerce, member of Yorktown volunteer Fire Department, and member of Yorktown Ideal Band and Community Band and Nordheim Brass Band. He was the 1944 Outstanding Citizen of Yorktown. Survivors: wife, Clydelle Lantrip Jacob; daughter, Clydelle Schroeder of Yorktown; brother, Wilson Jacob of Yorktown; three grandchildren; and five grandchildren. Preceded in death by: sisters, Olivia Fritsche, Elsa Shive, Agatha Gohlke, Lydia Runck, Hulda Parks, Melinda Jacob and Lorena Park; and brother, Harold Jacob. Family visitation will be 4 to 6 P.M. today at Lamprecht-Janssen Funeral Home chapel. Services will be at 10:30 A.M. Monday at First Presbyterian Church in Yorktown, the Rev. Scott Skogen Officiating. Burial will be at Westside Cemetery. Lamprecht-Janssen Funeral Home, Yorktown, 564-2277. Memorials: First Presbyterian Church or Yorktown EMS.
