    • EDDIE LEE WINSLOW (Auntie Rose as she was known to us nieces and nephews) married ROBERT C.
      ROSE (Of whom we do not have much information), and they lived most of their lives in the New Mexico
      area. There were no children of this union so Auntie Rose more or less adopted my mother's children. Eddie Lee was the oldest of 4 children born to her parents HENRY WALKER WINSLOW, SR. and ANNA BLANCHE MaGILL, in San Saba, TX. We loved her dearly!

      Uncle Bob died on May 14, 1973, and Auntie Rose died two days later on May 16. Her death records
      state that she died of MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION due to ARTERIOSCLEROTIC HEART DISEASE.

      She is buried in Prairie Haven Cemetery in Hobbs, New Mexico, as well is Uncle Bob Rose. They were
      married over 50 years, and since they died just two days apart, PAUL HARVEY, Radio personality,
      featured them in his telecast.

      When BARBARA BALLARD was 13 years of age, "Auntie Rose" paid for her to take piano lessons.

      (Medical):Eddie Lee Rose was DOA at Lea County General Hospital. No autopsy. Body handled by Griffin Funeral Home, Hobbs, NM.
