  Notes	[angeline robertson1.FBK.FTW] Uncle G. B.'s first wife, Winefred, was the step-daughter of Uncle Clarence. She was the daughter of Aunt Louise by her first marriage. Green Berry Bryant was a talented musician. His first "guitar" was made of a cigar box, made by his brothers. He learned to play the guitar on this instrument. While he was away from home one day his brothers sold the cigar guitar. He was so upset they combined their money and bought him a real guitar. For years he played and wrote music and at one time seriously considered have a career at it. He was asked to appear at Renfro Valley when he was diagnosed with a lung problem, (possibly TB) and was forced into a sanitarium. He never appeared on any major stage after his release from the hospital but played music all his life.
