    • !Mary Ann's father was William Pickett (abt 1701-1766) who came to
      Kentucky in 1779 with a traveling church. Her mother was Elizabeth Cooke
      (1714-aft 1777).

      ! In 1821 she lived in Henry County, KY. she was a spritly little lady about
      74 years old, having no Undisclosed family, only her servants. Like many aged
      persons she declined a home with any of her children, preferring to live at
      the old homestead. She and her husband had many years before located
      there in the wilderness and where he lived, died 12 years before, and was
      buried.
