    • Notes for William Fine:
      William and Cathrine Sivley Fine, son Jonathan Fine and his wife moved to TX about 1856. They went way down in TX to visit (Uncle Jake Sivley).

      William & Cathrine Sivley Fine moved down to Huntsville before War
      1812 and bought 180 acres off the plantation. Lived there until Jacob
      died. William was soldier War 1812 and was discharged Dec. 22, 1813, they moved back into Tenn and sold back to plantation. By Lottery in D. C. soldier got 160 acres of the best of land in Ark, Mo & Ill__2 million acres set aside - and
      William Fine's land was in a big valley 7 miles below Fayetteville
      Ark. They came over land, came up, crossed Miss river on Ferry St.
      Louis and turn into Mo down into Ark. Left Tenn 8 of Oct 1828 didn't
      reach their land till in Mar 12 1829. Cathrine Sivley Fine lived 17
      years longer than her husband. Lived to be 89 years old and her and
      her husband buried in a unmark grave in a family graveyard on the land
      given him for service war 1812.
