  Notes	Dr. George Edward Glover, Sr. was born in July, 1887 in Omaha, Nebraska, the oldest of three sons. When he was a baby, the family moved to Texas. Dr. Glover grew up in Palestine and graduated from high school at age 14. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas when he was 21. He moved to Refugio County in 1914 and began a medical practice in Austwell. He was a retired officer and veteran of World Wars I and II. He was a member of the Austwell Methodist Church. He married Leona Marie Bluhm, daughter of Wilhelm and Dorothea (Rabke) Bluhm. They met in Austwell. Both are buried in the Tivoli Cemetery; he was 65 and she was 85.
