  Notes	Bruno attended the Radcliff School before moving with the family to Austwell in 1912. He was employed by W.H. Gisler in his drug store and became owner in 1939. In 1920 he met Mary Frances Adair who moved to Austwell with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Adair in 1918. She was born August 20, 1895. She accepted a postion with the Austwell Schools and taught the third grade. Later she taught in the Mexican school. This was before the schools were integrated. Bruno and Mary were married August 9, 1925 in Sugarland, Texas and continued to work in the community. Miss Mary joined the Methodist Church and started teaching in the Sunday School. Bruno taught an advanced class and later was appointed Sunday School Superintendent. He also served as Tax Collector for the Austwell Independent School District. Miss Mary was active in the Order of the Eastern Star Organization. When an opening appeared in the Post Office, Mary applied and received the position of Postmaster. Both Bruno and Mary remained active in church and community affairs. Mary died June 4, 1974 and Bruno died exactly one year later.
